Coonoor, the popular hill station in India


The tourist spots of Coonoor are
Pomological Station: A fruit garden and a research centre which commands 3 gardens where These
Law Falls: Named after its founder colonel Law is Located at a distance of Just 7 Kms from Coonoor on the downward side of Coonoor-Mettupalayam Road.  It is a beautiful picnic spot, at a height of 180 feet, a nature lover’s paradise

Lamb's Rock: It is 8 Kms from Coonoor on the way to Dolphin's Nose. Situated in the heart of the jungle where you will get to see the Coimbatore plains and a popular destination of the tourists.

Lady Caninng's Seat: Just 9 Kms from Coonoor, It features a small house which guards a magnificent view of the tea plantations and the plains.

Dolphin's Nose: It is an Enormous rock formation, which looks like a Dolphins Nose, which has a ravine either side, in one you can see the Catherine Falls, or the other is a meeting point of the Coonoor and the kothagiri stream.
 
The Droog: It is a picnic spot which was once used as an outpost by The Ruler of Mysore Tippu Sultan, now has become a picnic/tourist. It is situated about 15 Kms from Coonoor and stands 6000 feet high, is a Trekkers paradise.
